This is a letter and the accompaning furlough agreement that employers can use to issue to workers that they are changing the status to be furloughed.
You need your employees consent and agreement for them to be furloughed.
If your staff are in we recommend you meet with those you intend to change their status to that of furloughed worker. If they are off already we recommend you call your staff or speak to them via tech and explain your intention.
Place a copy of the signed agreement on their personnel file.
